Question:

The DOLA would be sometime in Cotober, 2003. Therefore, the SOL ends October, 2003. Am I right?

the SOL for this account would start when the payment was due but not paid in November 2003. when it ends depends on your state.

The state SOL is three years. The last time I paid was in October. I believe it was Oct 12, 2003.

So, the SOL would end Oct 12, 2003, is how I understand it. And, it is reported 30 days late in November, becasue my last payment was in October.

the SOL doesn't END in 2003, that's when it STARTS. based on the info u gave. the last payment you made was October 2003. we then assume the next payment would have been due November 2003, yes? when the payment was due in November, but you didn't pay it, that started the SOL clock. if your SOL is 3 years like you said, then the SOL would END November whateverth, 2006.
