FFsWife
I was wondering if you can still do the DV on accounts my husband and I filed in BK7? There are quite a few older accounts that were from his divorce that we included in Bk, but would like to see them go if this can be done? Can you send DV letter to accounts in BK? Thanks! LadynRed
There is no point in DVing discharged debts. If the accounts are past the 7-1/2 year reporting period, then you need to dispute them as obsolete. Anything that is reported incorrectly, dispute. Anything that is not listed as 'IIB' , Zero Balance, none due from the bankrutpcy, dispute as incorrect and a violation of the BK law. Read the sticky at the top of this forum.
