tjones102
I had a repo on a vehicle back in 1999. When I had the vehicle, the loan was sold 3 times. On my credit report it is showing all three companies, same account number, but different dates. 2 of them are showing the 1999 date as last activity but the last one is showing like 5/2000. Can I use the dates of last activity on the 2 to get rid of the other one since it is the same account? Also I have one other question. On my credit report it is showing a loan from Kentucky Finance back in 1998 with the last activity in 2000. The last activity date is wrong, but Kentucky Finance went bankrupt approx 5 years ago. So I take it that when I dispute this with the CRA's they will not be able to validate it so it should be removed? Thanks in advance!!

newbie7069
If this is paid, and no longer in the SOL, then I would dispute all of the listings. And I would definately state that these are the same account, that they are time-barred and have apprantly been re-aged. I got 4 TLs off that way. And, yes if the company is no longer in existance, then this should be an easy one.
