GreatGadsby
so I pulled my report and saw that AAFES did a soft pull in June. they have no PP whatsoever. called EX, said that they pulled it for a pre-approved offer of credit. 1. i'm opt-ed out. 2. AAFES can't extend me credit, I haven't been in the military in 7 years. please tell me I can nail them for pulling without PP, even though it was a soft pull. lyle7289
Question? Why worry about a soft pull? Soft pulls are not a part of your FICO score. Just wondering......
GreatGadsby
because I've hated AAFES for quite a while and this was the straw that lit my fuse and I am absolutely determined to sue them despite the whole "they're the government" thing. they are under the impression that they can do whatever they want and i disagree. divemedic
I don't want people looking at my credit without PP, either. Besides, in GG's case, it was an AR pull. Since she does not have an account, there is not one to review, is there?
lyle7289
I had a AAFES acount (87'-96') and fell on some hard times. I found AAFES, BY FAR, the easiest to deal with out of any creditor on my reports. I now have a TL that reports "Pays as Agreed". Although I no longer have an account with them and it will prob. fall of here in a few, it is still nice to have.Sorry things are not different for you.
