tjones102
Just found out recently that a CA has been reporting that I owe $160 on a medical bill for 3 years. I contacted the doctors office and they showed I had paid the entire amount 3 years ago and don't owe them anything. Are there any recourse to take on the CA for reporting improperly for 3 years? VonAngel (aka EarthAngel)
Did you dispute w/ the CRAs? Was it verified? If so, then yes...the CA is in violation of reporting inaccurately per the FCRA. Ask for proof of payment from the DR and submit it to the CA.
