shegler
I filed Chapter 7 in 9/1999. I am now really trying to clean up all three of my credit files. I had several line items that were not showing as include in my backruptcy and I have disputed those and asked that is shows as included in Chapter 7. My question is when do those line items drop off? I know your Chapter 7 stays on for 10 years from the date of filing, but when do the line item debts drop off? Is it 7 years? And if that is the case should those be dropping of this year in September sinse I filed in September of 1999?Thank you in advance for your help! LadynRed
Individual tradelines that were included in your BK will drop off at the usual 7-1/2 year mark, starting with the date of first deliquency that immediately preceded placement for collections and/or charge-off. If they were not delinquent prior to filing, then they will drop off 7-1/2 years from your BK filing date.
