Hi folks!

I just wanted to let you know I got my car tonight! Brand new KIA Sportage EX 2006 with all options. The factory rebate and trade-in was use for down payment. It was the last day for this special program.

Thanks to all on the board for your help and the info here. My credit scores were high. I know the first 2 were: 728, 658, last one I think was 652. I now understand what the guys here were trying to explain about scoring models it is impossible to gauge the scores! My FAKO scores were very different! I was not able to get 0% of course but my goal was not to go any higher than 8% and payments under $380.00 for 72 months, got it financed with BOA, I also have CC and checking account with them. It works out perfect! After driving a 14 year old car for years... I was so used to hearing the loud motor... I did not realize my new car was already running when I did the test drive... that quiet!!!

Just got home from the dealer with the car tonight and its 1:30 AM, but wanted to share the good news!!!

I know the feeling man... the reason I stumbled across this board was to raise my scores to obtain an auto loan.

Last week I was approved for the lowest rate offered by the automaker's finanace division. It was such a relief! I expected to have to refinance my loan several times.

I wouldn't know how to feel to be approved for a big purchase. To be honest with you if I was ever approved for store credit I believe I would on myself.

It is a huge relief to finally not have to worry about a major repair again for 10 years!!! It was well worth the price considering that it is warranteed for 10/100,00! The gas on the hwy was great compared to my old Ford! Plus it has ice polar AC! Today we will see 101... Will not feel it now!
