lindsay135
I wrote an OC and said there was some info wrong on my CR after I filed for BK7, they wrote me back and said the account was IIB on BK filed October 31 my BK was not filed OCT 31 it was OCT 5th. Being that it is wrong, what can I do to get it taken off? ~L
LadynRed
You can dispute anything that is incorrect with the credit bureaus and you should do so.
lindsay135
I killed 2 birds with one stone and disputed with both the CRA and the OC so I am waiting to hear back from the CRA, I am sure they will be "verifying" it. What would be grounds for them to erase it under the FCRA? Just that the dates are wrong? Or do I need to then send a MOV first and then tag them that way? Thanks ~L
LadynRed
If the dispute with the CRA is not verified by the furnisher, then the CRA must delete. Other than that, it's unlikely you'll get a delete.
