sevastras
A few months back I was put in contact with a higher up at Equi(forget how), but she put a 7 year extended alert on my report and wiped out a bunch of things. My question is, would it be just as beneficial to get an extended alert on my other two(she didnt do that automatically)? And is it worth leaving on for the 7 years or should I call and get it taken off? It says:Consumer Statement Equifax: FRAUD VICTIM. "EXTENDED ALERT". GreatGadsby
she couldn't have done it automatically. each CRA has their own people. they don't care what the other 2 report.
sevastras
Each credit agency says on their automated phone that if you are putting a fraud alert on your report, they will let the other two know. This however is the 7 year fraud alert, not the standard 90 day alert.
