rebound101
After filing bankruptcy in 1999, I don't think any of the creditors/or debts showed up on my credit report. However, when I look at my husband's credit report, it lists everything. He filed chapt. 7 in Jan. 2004. Even though he filed before the new bankruptcy law, should the creditors still be listed? breathing_easier
Are they listed as IIB (Included in Bankruptcy)?
rebound101
No they make no mention of the debts being included in bankruptcy. He is currently disputing them.
LadynRed
The included creditors should still be listed, but they should be reporting as 'included in bankruptcy' with a ZERO balance, no past due amounts, and no negative history AFTER the BK filing date. creditclimber
Unless he can get them deleted completely, which they sometimes will.
