Got FICO?
Hey there posters. A success story that I am posting in obtaining auto loans.I got a brand new vehicle today!!!!!!I pay out the wahzoo 18.23% but it's mine and I will refinance a little later. When I began my credit repair in June of this year, my Ficos were in the 490s, now in the 590s big big jump in a short amount of time. The best part................I have paid my last SL rehab payment so my FICO should really jump, I will have a perfect TL and instead of showing 27,000 in past due delinquincies, I will have a positive up to date TL.This forum and THE BOOK has been worth its weight in gold. PolarBearnCO
The best part................I have paid my last SL rehab payment so my FICO should really jump, I will have a perfect TL and instead of showing 27,000 in past due delinquincies, I will have a positive up to date TL.Let me know how the SL thing goes. I was really excited last month when I finally rehabbed my $50K of SLs, only to find through research that my OC TLs will remain negative (10 of them), my guarantor TLs will become positive, and the CA TLs will (have, actually) disappeared.I'm interested in knowing how you fare. I hope they all turn positive. I don't want to burst your bubble, but you should consider checking out the student loan forum prior to getting to happy. SL TLs are sooooo confusing. Got FICO?
Believe me if good results aren't posted and major increases happen my bubble will burst. My SL is unlike some of the other SLs in that the OC and the collector are one and the same company. My SL didn't get sent to another company once it defaulted so hopefully I will fare well, it is just posted under one TL.In some of the much earlier SL postings I think one or two peoples scores rose as much as 100 points after they rehabbed but I think I read that all of their TLs were marked positive. I don't think that will happen in my case but something is drastically wrong with my scores. I have 1 open medical collection and 2 derogs and 17 positive TLs (spanning almost 15 years). I am still in the 500 club........go figure.......It has to be the defaulted SL....just has to be......I will let you know and please let the rest of us know of your outcome. Positive tales are really inspiring::balloons::
PolarBearnCO
I think I read in the SL forums that the Dept of Ed requires (almost forcibly) that SL lenders report TLs accurately. There seem to be different rules for the OCs, guarantors, and collectors.I'm no expert. Talk to the SL forum. Regardless, if your OC TLs show lates, then positives, I'd think that would help out a lot over half a year or so. Again, no expert here.Good luck.
