nightwind
I checked my credit report tonight and ace has been put back on my credit report. I opened the account in january 1999. The account does show paid collections, with numerous lates. I never paid them. What can i do if my challenge to the cra falls through. It only looks like it's on experian right now. LadynRed
Ok.. so where is the re-aging ??? Just putting it back on your reports is NOT re-aging - unless it had already aged off by being past the normal 7-1/2 year reporting period. nightwind
Ace sent me a "credit handbook" in 01/99. Never paid anything and sent their packet back. 1st delinq. reported on cr as 01/99, same as open date. It fell off a couple of months ago. Now it reports as being paid and is back on the report. LadynRed
Ok then, looks like you have a case of illegal re-aging if they are reporting it as a negative. Dispute it as obsolete and illgeally re-aged.
