Relocated
I just got off the phone with them.Their system tells me my Equifax score is 662.Equifax tells me it's 594.Their answer "Oh, we use different formulaes".As far as I can see their scores for anything other than Transunion are worthless. LNY
Uh, yeah... I think that's been pretty well-established here already, that FAKOs and FICOs are different, and each CRA has its own scoring formula, and FAKOs have no real purpose... credit_junkie87
I think some of them have different ranges too, so your two scores may not be that different on the same scale.
dayleyj
So which company or website is the most reliable when trying to monitor your credit score?? I just signed up for Truecredit last night and thought my scores were higher than I was pulling on my own???
divemedic
None of them. Not even FICO. Each consumer uses a different formula, even within FICO itself. Don't get too hung up on score, as long as you use the same one every time, you can use it to guage your progress, but other than that...
