miamitru
Having a fraud alert placed on cr...is this bad? If so why?
brattylatina
Experian and Equifax placed them on my cr after I disputed accounts as not mine. I haven't had any problems. The good thing that came out of it was I disputed inquiries with Experian and little by little they are deleting them.
momof5
I have a FA due to ID theft. The only inconvenience so far was to have to call in to the 3 CRAs to get online access again. After that, no problem. I have not applied for any new credit and I don't intend to. I am looking at buying a house (again) this summer. Currently, I lost 60 pts when I maxed out my CCs due to my self-paid relo back to FL. Pay off those puppies, get my 60 pts back...add a few more from *b*, I will me mid 600's across the board. It's nice to know that I am protected from the ID theft from happening again.
