credit_junkie87
I just got a pre-approved notice for the Chase Freedom Card! The 9.9% APR is the lowest I've ever received. I finally feel I've 'arrived' as far as credit is concerned! The funny thing is - my EQ FICO is only 655!The others would also probably be in the same range. skyfox2020
Congrats on the pre-approval and 9.9% is a great rate!
credit_junkie87
Man... I had received at least 20 offers from them over the past year with rates of 19.9% or higher!Feels good to receive prime offers. I think my CL of $5000 from BoA (recent CLI) prompted this. newbie7069
I'd love to find out what happens with this. DH got one of those pre-approved offers as well. I've been trying to decide if we should waste the inquiry. His EQ FICO still sucks
credit_junkie87
I don't think I'll be applying for it after all... Opened 4 revolving accounts as well as an auto loan this year. How is your husband's TU? I suspect they pulled TU when they pre-approved me.Did he get an offer for the chase freedom? newbie7069
He did get the same offer as you. Pre-approved Chase Freedom with 9.9%. I thought we were making progress, due to his FAKOs all going up to around 600, and based on most people's experiences with FAKOs being lower. Yet, I pulled FICOs yesterday, and his TU was 548 (he has a 624 TU FAKO). EQ FAKO 584 / EQ FICO 518. So I really can't see him standing a chance. credit_junkie87
Very weird... I suspect they may not approve us for this particular card but instead offer us another card which won't be as good.I mentioned that they have mailed me at least 20 offers, right?Maybe they are hoping that if they offer this as bait I might bite. newbie7069
He has too so you're probably right. We are waiting on a Chase acct that he got added onto as a AU/joint that has a $20,000 CL to finally post to his CR. Maybe they'll give us some love after that
