Okay I am worn out and about fed up with all these CRAs and CA's...I'm tired of being screwed. CSC just inserted two Providian accts that were already deleted from 2005. I have the documentation to prove this so can I call these Bastards and tell them that they must delete them ? If so does anyone have a good number for CSC where it doesn't say " sorry but we cannot answer any calls today due to training !! " I hate Providian as they are the only two Neg. accts on my EX and TU CR as well. I have only been able to beat them with EQ (CSC) but not with EX and TU..these CRAs won't budge. Also, CSC (EQ) still will not remove a paid CA from my acct. that was never ever delinquent and why it shows up as a PAID COLLECTION is beyond me. I am just so sick of these companies as they just continue to screw me. I want to beat them so bad as its just a few negatives here and there but OSI Recovery will not budge and Stupid Providian is just giving me hell knowing that the SOL will run out in about a year. PLEASE,PLEASE HELP ME !! I need guidance in how to handle this. You guys have alwasy been there so I hope you can help me once again..Thanks a Million !!

If they did not provide you notice of the re-insertion within five days thereafter, they are in violation of the FCRA. Direct a letter to them citing the above and that should take care of the Providian lines.

As for OSI, keep disputing and request validation. When they fail to mark the account as in dispute, institute a civil action against them under the FDCPA & FCRA (implied violation).

Unfortunately, it is often the case that the last few derogatory tradelines require litigation. Sounds like you may be to that point.

Remember to check your Dates. Did they report any changes in the dates.

Did they Re-age or made them appear as Recent negative events.

ANY DEROG is minus 29, ANY SLOW/PAY is minus 14,

in addition to how long ago did the MOST recent Negative Event

occur:

< than 1 year = ? (don't know number)

1-3 years ago = ?

more than 3 years ago = ?

It appears that Collection Accounts reported more than

3 years ago may be better for Scoring.

See, creditinfocenter.com Home page

Scoring doesn't work this way. For one person, a recent late might hit for 10 points, for others, it could be 50. For one person, losing a charge off will only move you by a few points, for another, it can launch you up 100 points. It's by far more complex than a simple rule like +8 for this and +10 for that. The info on CreditInfoCenter is either wrong or being misinterpreted.
