direred
Contact the CRA. I had this happen to me before.People have been doing that without success, and they've also been trying to talk to Target customer service. I decided to go straight for the top of Target's financial services.Unfortunately, in my case, I was maxed at the time of the report, so it's affecting my util. PeteDude
Target has misbilled me late fees for two situations where their electronic payment methods failed. They might have a grumpy customer on the phone soon.

You can't just beg the CRA, you have to be rough. Get the CRA on the phone and cite LAW, and ask them if they would be interested in violating. Works at least half the time for me. I'm sure it was a massive glitch and not just affecting me, because a lot of people have reported duplicate tradelines on Target.

I called them and they said, so sad TOO BAD. Wish I would have sued back then!!Didn't know about the target issue. The way I settled it was asking the rep if they wanted me to sue. Worked in that case.
direred
In this case, I'm not sure the glitch was on Target's end. It may have been on TU's, or it may have been a computer upgrade glitch. I'm not sure they know how many dups that were created.
