In my never ending quest to remove a sucky paid collection, I've read that you can adapt a DV letter and send it to CA for a paid collection.

My old Bank One TL is gone off EQ and EX but the paid collection of it Liberty Point is still there.

So does anyone have a DV letter for paid collections?

All the DV's I've looked at still have collecting a debt verbage and very little defamation of character. I could use any help!

Thank you!

Techinically it's neither...

In the posts I've read they suggest sending a modified DV removing the word verification and put in dispute.

I've had a lot of luck with paid collections this collection is from a CC and I trully believe that if I ask them for verification they won't have anything to back it up. The OC doesn't exist anymore it was bought by Chase and I've managed to remove the OC TL off EX and EQ. I paid the collection this year before I knew better. So I assume (?) that if the CA can't produce records from the OC, I've got a shot at a delete. Is that correct?

I don't have any problems trying to remove a paid collection, if it's damaging my credit.

So what I'm looking for is a modified DV for a paid collection on a CC, just wondering if anyone has done one before.

Thank you in advance for any help!!
