Asked to pay for validation w/Bank1st??

I asked for payment history by email to validate a late payment being reported.

I also asked them to show why they are listing my high balance as over my limit.

they replied.....

In order to review the complete history of your balance and charges you would need to request the previous month statements.

We can send you a duplicate statement by regular mail for any month that you need. Each statement is [insert Fee $], and the fee will appear on your next bill.

Please let us know if you accept the charge and would like us to send you a statement copy. Also, remember to include the specific month and year for each statement that you are requesting.

Do I have to pay them for info they are reporting to the CRAs?
