tcw59
Hello everyone! This is my first post. I am so glad that I found this great site as I begin my journey to repairing my credit! There is so much valuable information here.I am ready to send my dispute letter to the CRA's and I just wanted to know if 15 disputes (per report) were too many to send at one time. I have read on this site to dispute ALL of the negative...will 15 be "Frivolous"?Thanks!
Methuss
If they are truely inaccurate, no...not at all. But there are three caveats:First, if all 15 is the entire credit report, they may not be very cooperative and judge that you are trying to wipe everything for a fresh start.Second, if they fail to fix things that you have proof are wrong, you'll have everything jumbled together on your evidence of their violations. That makes it more complicated if it comes to getting a court to order the CRA to fix something. Judges like things simple. They do not like having to sift through a morass of stuff to get at what they need to see.Third, if you were to send 15 separate disputes (I know it would cost a lot) each one gets its own 30 day timer. If you lump em all together, the CRA can treat the lot of them as one dispute since the law is vague on that. Separate disputes also means more chance of things being fixed or removed since more people are looking at it; meaning more chance of getting a lazy investigator that just removes it rather than do actual work. Recovering Attorney
I agree with Methuss. I find it is easier to attack them individually.
