BRubble
Hello fellow freedom fighters. I have known about this site for the past 2 years through a friend who used help from here to clear mounds of bad TLs, but just got off my butt around Thanksgiving to start the process of cleaning up my own. I probably have the same story as many posters. A long layoff really hurt me and 2 years later I am just starting to really recover. Good news is that I have been able to clear 3-4 disputes with TU and 1-4 with EX. I am just finally mailing off the first round to EQ (CSC in TX) due to my ignorance at thinking they will get their websites functional. I'll be disputing 5 TLs with them and also start my second wave with the others on a common bigger TL. Wish me luck.

BRubble
Congrats and keep it upI have a question. Did I pull my reports too soon on myfico? The days that I got my research results from the disputes that I made, I pulled my scores on myfico and my scores didn't seem to change. Since I got deletes I figured they would move somewhat. The deletes I got were gone from the reports, but I'm not sure if I should have waited a few days for a score regeneration. Looks like EX was updated due to the age of a negative going over 4 years. I'm sending disputes to EX (CSC) in the morning. EX EQ TU1106 571 576 6170107 579 578
unckbobby
Congrats!Did you sign up for the Myfico monitoring service, or just pull your scores? I signed up for the monitoring service ($8 a month), and I get a text message and email when my equifax fico score changes. You think getting a deletion brightens your day, wait till you get a text msg that your score has jumped!!!

Since I haven't been through the disputes with them yet, I don't expect much there. My question was whether the scores are static and updated the day after the CRAs update their data. I was able to pull updated reports the same day as getting emails from the CRAs but my FICO didn't change. Knowing this will save us money when spending to pull our FICOs on myfico.com.
