Spiegel Mastercard Approval!

That Target "The Devil" Visa, can you choose your own card design, like which visual interpretation of Satan you prefer? I'm torn between the traditional "ugly red dude with horns and goatee" and George Steinbrenner.

Hi tourniquet,

Question...you said in your Spiegel thread that; ..."I don't know what my scores are now. I'm too afraid to check. they may have dived 100 points with all the inquiries. I'll check them in the spring."

So you didn't check them prior to this last round of credit apps? I was just wondering where your score was when you attained; Walmart, JC Penney's, Target, Unsecured First Premier? I got a lot more work to do on my CR's before I get to being able to apply for any of those, but I was just wondering so I could have something to aim for.

I applied for Orchard and First Premier in 1/2005.

They were my first positve tradelines.

Target "The Devil" in 5/2005

Walmart in 6/2005

I applied for Hooters in 4/2006

Dell, around July 2006.

In August 2006, I applied at Old Navy, Home Depot, Bestbuy, and Circuit City, and they all turned me down flat.

You can check those dates against the scores in my siggy.

I didn't check my credits scores before I appled for Juniper, JC Penny's, Macys, and Spiegels.

My scores must not be too bad. I'm on too big of a high to look at my scores now. I got what I wanted. I did the moonwalk into work this morning, and I've been dancing all day.

Thanks, hon. No, I wouldn't want you checking it now! I wouldn't want to be the one responsible for bringing ya down off your happy coaster! :) Congrats again by the way! It looks like you waited until your score hit at least 600+ to truly begin applying for stuff. Good to know. I'm at a 532-TU

531-Ex and 472-Eq. Some recent mortgage lates killed my score...:( Priorities changed to keeping a roof over our head, but now I gotta figure out a refi otherwise we're SUNK.

Thanks for your info.

I'm a She, She, She!

My friend is texting me, telling me I'm out of control.

Then she reminded me about the Old Navy card I've always dreamed of having. Don't know what to do.

I'm so hot right now, I'm gonna play the powerball tomorrow!! 5 for 5! Woohoo!

YOU'RE A SHE??? Well, why didn't you say so earlier, girlfriend??

And you ARE out of control. There's nothing you can buy at Old Navy that you can't buy with a LOWER-RATE Visa or MC!!!!

My hands are itching...

But you're right, and Old Navy never give a decent limit anyway. And I do have 0 percent interest for six months with W. Mutual.

But what if Old Navy finally wants me.....?

I'm done. If I strike out, I'll lose my high.

I guess I can look forward to the mailman bringing me four brand new shiny cards. :)

W. Mutual is a prime card right? I finally got one!

Look at your portfolio now! You've done GREAT!! Now just sit back (put some calamine lotion on that hand) and LET THEM AGE. And with that age will come CLIs. WaMu will probably treat you nice at 6 months.

(Don't forget to call Macy's and Penney's for guideline increases, though)
