amanda3100
i have had medicaid nonstop for 17 years yet i keep having medicl bills on my credit report for years and most of them i just had to wait for the sol so they fall off but now i have new bills noone tried to contact me or anything before they put it on my file i know that if it's not reported to them or any insurance co. in a timely fashion the will refuse to pay them and i feel i'm being screwed because i can't take the bills to medicaid myself and i know they will pay for them if submitted correctly by the dr. offfice or hospital but for some of them it is just to late and i don't have anything to bring to the local medicaid office to say here you need to pay this they'll just tell me the dr. has to send his bill in to them what can i do this is on my credit report and is affecting my credit badly i disputed them all crying i have medicaid online and they don't give you enough room to give a good enough explanation as to why you're disputing the items so i really need helpthey are the ones i'm having the most trouble with thanks any help is welcome. I would arrange a meeting and bring in your credit report so he/she can see that your medical bills are not being paid properly and I'm positive Medicaid has a legal department to help with this kind of action. sr28b
Amanda,If you remove the comment about the SOL in your post and add a demand to have the medical collections removed for "improperly balance billing a medicaid recipient" then I think you have a great letter to send certfied mail to the collection agencies. Thomas gave good advice too.
