Bigbrown88
My goal is to clear up my credit report, obviously. Today I received a new CA trying to collect on an account that is neither on my CR nor is passed SOL.Should I DV it now, even though it isnt on my piss poor CR? Or should I try to settle it before it ends up there by negotiating it to "Never Appear" on my CR?This CA (leading edge recovery) did an inquiry about a month and a half ago. Would this mean they are going to report to the CRA's soon? Thanks in advanceMike
melisadawn
How much longer until out of SOL? When I worked for a CA we pulled CR as soon as we got it. Just because they pull it does not mean they will report it. They pull to basically see how collectable it is. If you have perfect credit and that is only flaw they will try harder to get to you then someone who has a lot of bad. Also since I was new at CA I got the "uncollectable" accounts and so had to get call quota so either way a lot of calls went out. But all in all a CA pulls to see how collectable the account is. Hopefully someone can help more
Bigbrown88
My SOL is about 9 months away from expiring on the account they are trying to collect on. My credit is rotten, so they might think that they wont get anything out of me. Is there any way to have their inquiry removed on the basis that I did not authorize their pull?
