merekelly
Hello everyone, Just a quick question. I searched in the Illinois database and found that NCO is licensed in my state, however the address listed is different from the one in the letter sent to me when I DV'd them. It's says NCO licensed and the address is Horsham, PA whereas the office sending me the letter due to my request for validation is Springfield, MO. Does that mean that they are not licensed in my state or will the company regardless of what address they are in makes it o.k to collect in my state. Just want to know if I can send them a letter asking for them to prove they are licensed. Well, hopefully I will find out. Thanks so much.
Recovering Attorney
if they are licensed to do business in ILL, it doesn't matter what address they use to mail you letters.

It will give you all the possible hitsAnother question for everyone - If I don't find the CA is licensed, do I send them a letter asking them to remove the listing from my credit report because they are not licensed in my state or what?? I'm easily confused on where to go from here. I also have a CA that replied to my DV and they had the appropriate documents, however, they have a different balance than what is on my credit report. What do I do now - DV them again? Sorry for all the question. Thanks all you helpers out there.
