Budhibbs Collection Assistance Program - anyone use it?

Does anyone have any experiences using the Collection Assistance Program offered on Bud Hibb's website?

UCB (on behalf of LVNV, regarding BOFA account) is leaving messages on answering machine indicating if no return call tomorrow, they'll contact the sheriff and serve papers...would lawyer or bud hibbs be recommended at this point?

a lawyer. .hibbs is wonderful and I have used him for several things but he is NOT a lawyer and he will tell you that first thing.. then he will tell you to go to the NACA website and find a lawyer who can take your case.. however just because they SAY they will file and doing it are two different things.. they try to scare you so if you have had nothing served.. contact hibbs.. I cant tell you how many times a collector said they would sue and didnt... they are nto supposed to do that but they do.... STAY OFF THE PHONE .. they are trying to scare you.. oh and save that message.. threats like that are NOT legal.. call hibbs number and tell him about that as well

Isn't leaving a message like that amateurish in light of 15 USC 1962e ?

A debt collector may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:

(5) The threat to take any action that cannot legally be taken or that is not intended to be taken.

So you don't return the phone call today and they don't file tomorrow and you win $1,000.
