gypsie
I'm hoping I made a good choice when I decided to take them up on their pre-approval offer.I was approved for a $5000.00 CL! (which completely shocked me) This is my first unsecured CC since my BK in 2003I've read mixed feelings regarding WaMu on this board, so I was a bit reluctant.Anyways! Cheers! elyse449
Congratulations! Well, I guess you could just read the posts of others who have had issues with WAMU and have a plan of action to avoid those pitfalls...whatever they are. Heck, I'm not even beyond secured cc's so I wouldn't know...but it's a thought! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing this, it reminds me that with persistance credit repair IS possible...although I am doubtful at times!! LOL!!!Elyse

LNY
I'm guessing Washington Mutual, but that's is just a guess.DING DING DING, WE HAVE A WINNER!!! (And yes, a search would have easily answered that question... :ROFLMAO2: )
orgaknight
Perhaps instead of refering newbies to search for acronyms add nauseum, you might just take a few extra keystrokes and spell it out and save everybody the search time so they don't have to leave the thread to figure it out. It would be a nice gesture not to assume everybody knows the acronym meaning for WaMu.
divemedic
You ARE kidding, right? If you aren't, then how can you come to a SELF HELP credit repair site, and expect the people there to put forth more effort to search for and provide answers to repair YOUR credit than you are willing to do yourself? No one here minds helping people, and we all try to remember what it was like for us in the beginning, and help push people in the right direction. Remember when you say something like this:you might just take a few extra keystrokes and spell it out and save everybody the search timeSince I have been here, 6,780 people have joined the boards. That is an average of ten new members a day. Imagine how many times we answer the same questions. If I had to spend my time looking up things on the same questions over and over, my day would be filled. We ask people to use the search button. It is your credit, not mine. My credit looks just fine. I help people, as do the others here. For free. All we ask is that you put forth some effort to fix YOUR credit. orgaknight
We agree to disagree! For those of you who are not arrogant/lazy and are willing to be considerate to newbies and others reading the thread, please be clear if you are communicating concepts. For many of us, a visit here is a stolen moment in our busy lives and we don't have much time to search endless threads, looking for information when we could get the information from the thread we are reading. I will do my best to follow this approach. And oh by the way, you can be very sure that I am not kidding about that! So dispense with the patronizing drivel responses to those you think you can push around.

For many of us, a visit here is a stolen moment in our busy lives and we don't have much time to search endless threads, What about those of you who are too arrogant and lazy to even fix your own credit, and expect others to do it for you? The time spent here is also out of MY busy life, and I use the time on here to help as many people as possible. I don't want to spend all of my time catering to the lazy ones who can't be bothered to use a search button.I will do my best to follow this approach. And oh by the way, you can be very sure that I am not kidding about that! Good luck.

We do this for free, and make the time in our busy lives to do so. We don't always have the time to either do your searches for you, or retype the same (often lengthy) answers for the hundredth time, just so you don't have to waste any time and effort looking for one of the previous 99.I'm sorry, but this is really out of line. We really do our best here to help, but we can't be expected to do ALL the work. There are over 10,000 of you here, and we can only type the same answers so many times. orgaknight
I also contribute as well as being very busy. I have responded to a couple of people having problems with Tax Liens and issues, my speciality. Don't assume that posters don't contribute. I have learned a lot here and have found most posters and moderators to be kind and helpful until now.
orgaknight
Lastly, I don't care if you don't want to take the time to spell something out or refer the reader to a more informative posting. That's find by me, all I did was ask. Rest assured that I will take the time to be clear in my communications with people on this board and will hope that other like minded and good mannered people will do the same, so don't you worry about us ok?
