jenny28
I have a quick question...does anyone on here know if having a HOME phone line (rather than just a cell phone) can affect your acceptance/rejection of new credit cards? VonAngel (aka EarthAngel)
It depends on the creditor. You can always try to find out. The worst they can do is not give you a card.
SecretAgentWoman
I'm worried about this, too. My home phone is Vonage, and they don't list your number. However, the creditors have to come into the 21st century if you think about it - land lines are going the way of the dinosaur. I would be willing to bet the under 40 - and especially under 30 - group are dumping them more and more. Maybe having a land line used to indicate stability, but now I'd say having a land line just indicates your financial ignorance!
chilton1
You just have to list vonage as the home phone number. No one is checking the kind of service you have. Plus I dont know how your VOIP works but mine i can block numbers so i block the CAsI have calling me.
