Yes!!! Another success!!!

On 17 Jan 07, I wrote the following to Lowes:

After recent review of my credit reports, I discovered that a 30 day late was reported to Equifax for December 2001 and was also reported to Experian for January 2002. I also noticed that during the period of March 2003 through January 2004, no information was reported to Trans Union at all.

I humbly ask that you consider removing the aforementioned 30 day late notations listed with both Equifax and Experian. Please note: I do not dispute, and do not wish to dispute this information. However, I hope you will consider removing this derogatory as a gesture of Good Will.

I also request that you report the positive history for this account during the period of March 2003 through January 2004. I feel this is a reasonable request.

I received the following response today:

Please accept this letter as written confirmation that a request has been sent to the credit reporting agencies, Experian, Equifax, Trans Union and Innovis, to delete all derogatory information from your credit bureau file, pertaining to your Lowe's Consumer credit card account.

Please retain this letter for future reference. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any questions or if we may be of further assistance, please contact us at the telephone number shown below. If we do not hear from you we will trust that you are acknowledging agreement with the response above.

You are a valued Lowe's Consumer customer and we are committed to providing you with the highest level of service.

Awesome......

So far I have scored 4 or 5 deletions of collections accounts and 2 deletions of derogatory info on accounts that remain on my CR's. That is bound to make a profound difference in my scores.

This IS going to be a good year!!!
