lolah
I found the flowchart and from what I understand you should DV with the Credit Bureau AND the CA at the same time. But, how many debts can you include? Is it wiser to send each one separate? I don't want anything overlooked or unnoticed. Thanks!
elyse449
I always sent my DV to the collection company FIRST. After I got my green card back that told me they'd received my notice, I sent my validation request to the credit bureau's. If it was a debt I outright disputed as not mine I did the same thing.I only did a few at a time as that was all I could handle and I didn't want to get branded by the credit bureau's as someone who made frivilous claims. I wanted to be sure I disputed them or needed validation in other words. You have room to nag if the accuracy is off to--IE: Dates, amounts, etc.If it were me, I'd send each one separate. But if you're doing your disputes online, than I know the credit bureau's offer room to dispute more than one at once so that's ok.Elyse
