*b* after one week of pulls?????

Recommended Posts

Ok so whats the deal?

I heard about *B* and switched to TrueCredit from Creditexpert. I have pulled 7 reports exactly in one week.

Yesterday I had 19 inquiries and 4 additional inquiry alerts during the day. So when I pulled my report this morning I should have seen 23 inquiries.... BUT I see 18. How is that possible?

I hear it take at least 60-90 soft inq. I didn't dispute anything except inquiries over at equifax which 14 were removed, 4 remained.

Any opinions?

I had 3 bumped from Equifax to my surprize this morning, but none from TransUnion. I don't get it either, but I only had 6 & 8 to begin with, so I'm not worried.

How do you pull your report and how long have you been pulling to see changes with Equifax? I've pulled for a week so I don't understand how I lost inquiries with TU. Hmmm... confusin. But I wont complain. lol

Hey Kiddo...want to lose your last 4 with EQ quickly? This is a technique that I got from EarthAngel (be sure to thank her when it works for you, and it will work)

Go to this thread http://www.debt-consolidation-credit...d.php?t=261965 and her response is #8. Follow the links and you're there. After you submit your first 6, you can start all over again and do 6 more. I did 12 a day and within 2 weeks, inquires were gone.

Good thing about it is whenever you appy for credit where they pull EQ, you can go back and delete the inquiry.

Hope this helps.

Calling EQ to dispute the inquiries will make them disappear even faster.;)

HAHA This is EXACTLY how I deleted the 14. lol. I'm not sure about calling them to dispute inquiries from actual TL but worth a shot. lol. Hopefully *b* will continue for TU and obviously EQ is EASY, but EX is a pain. I'm a chicken to call since I feel there gonna totally call me out on what I am doin. HA. I am done applying though so no more inquiries. I have enough credit. I just want that Discover when my scores rise.

Earth Angel is awesome. THANK YOU!

So you all have had inquiries removed when it corresponds with a TL?

Im nervous about asking those particular inquires deleted also.

Yes it works when corresponding with TL....they may say no the first time but do it again and poof, they are gone. I have a few new TL's and 0 inquirys......

Can someone email me, IM me or something and tell me what your using to do this now? Way in the day when the big 3 let us pull as much as we wanted that's how we did it..but it sounds like now if you dispute an inquiry they are falling off?

It's already been posted about how to do it but I'll make it easy and add it here.

With TU you still have to pull daily to see *b* For some reason I saw *b* in one week (but that has stopped) and hoping after 60-90 days of pulls they start droppin like everyone else says.

With EX (I havent yet done this so I could be wrong) you put a fraud alert on your reports and then dispute those inquiries and they fall off. I just put a fraud alert on mine so we will see now when I call to dispute what happens.

With EQ go to https://www.econsumer.equifax.com/consumer/sitepage.ehtml?forward=online_dispute and for col agen type in who pulled your credit from EQ. Then for acct # type in "inquiry 0/0/00" and fill in the date it was pulled. Then check "not mine." Mine were all deleted even those tied to a TL when I disputed sa second time.

Good Luck.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I understand what the term bumpage is and how it works... but my question is how many times are people pulling their TC report? I was pulling it every few days before I read about the bumpage and split files. I do not want to have a split file show up... so now I am afraid to pull my updates. I am still waiting to see if some inq's dropped off.. but how often are people pulling?

This EQ trick is awesome unless you're one of the unlucky shmucks like me who can't use EQ online. I can't even see my EQ credit report online. In fact, if I try and order my EQ report online it won't let me because the "prove you're who you say you are questions" aren't accurate and I have to snail mail my request. I despise EQ.

You don't have to see your report online to use this method. This method is for anyone, especially if you don't have a confirmation #. You can use a paper copy of your CR to refer to when disputing.
