BAC 30d late, in 2004...?

I have a 30 day late from a closed BAC account in 2004. I want to get this stupid thing off my reports. I doubt they even have records for this anymore. I am probably going to give the old OC dispute a whirl as I disputed these too early and they will not "reverify." Aside from OC dispute, does anyone have any advice on how to get these removed from transunion and experian (equifax took them off with no problem)

when was this account opened and is the 30 day late the only negative on this tl? WHat does the rest of your cr look like? Since this late is over 2 years old it could very well be helping you rather then hurting you if there is some long history to this account. Give us some more details because you might be best just leaving it alone.

My credit is pretty poor for Experian I am 577 according to Truecredit and 541 according to Creditexpert. I have some medical bills paid and unpaid in collection as well.

If you have collections, they are doing WAY more harm than the single, two year old 30 late is. That account is probably helping you more than hurting you. Leave it.
