elyse449
I got an offer from First Premier this week. I know they aren't a very well looked upon company, but I was just wanting some input on it...considering where I'm at score wise I don't feel I'd qualify anyway, but I wanted to run it by you folks for discussions sake...so whoever has the time...?**YOU ARE PREAPPROVED**Don't wait, you are preapproved* right now. Reply immediately and the First Premier Bank Plantinum MasterCard with low, competitive rate on purchases and many more advantages-could soon be yours. Apply for your card today. Call xxx-xxx-xxxx or mail your completed CONFIRMATION FORM or visit us online. The APR they're "offering" is 9.9 and I am aware this card is one that charges against your card initial "fees" bringing your CL from 250.00 to 72.00. It says I'm guarenteed approval provided nothing has changed on my CR's and provided I give them the appropriate info. And it does ask for employer info.Thoughts? Tourniquet416
I'm sure you'll be approved. They approve everyone.I'm just looking at my final bill, since I just closed it, and the total interest i paid last year was $16.I kept a balance on it most of last year. They were the first card to approve me. chilton1
yea, but how much did you pay to get the card? They approved me and when i got the info I told them no thanks. It was some crazy amount in fees. I got $400 CL and fees were $210.00. Kind of like a secured card. If you do take the card, call them and say no at first; they will lower the fees. They lowered the fees for me, but I was already pissed at the high fees so I declined.
elyse449
Sorry-ONE more question...IF I do apply, what do I list for "employer" info?? Can I say work at home or homemaker?? I'll be able to list my dh's income along with my c/s that I get for my two dd's...just don't want to get tripped up and I hate to take the inquiry hit just to be told "no."Elyse
Tourniquet416
i honestly don't think it matters with them, i could be wrong. I put my company's name, but i always put the wrong phone number in CC applications, and they never check.
maaj
I don't think it really matters also. I am a stay at home mother and I just put down some income off the top of my head. I have a bunch of bad credit and only a few good TL's and I got approved. Now I did have to fax in some stuff verifying address and identification since I had a fraud alert on my file from identity theft years ago, but once I did that it was on the way. YES it came with high fees, BUT I do know that I have to start somewhere and this is my first line of revolving credit in about 6 years so I WENT FOR IT AND I AM KEEPING THE BALANCE LOW AND PAYING EVERY MONTH ON TIME FAITHFULLY. Everything else that I have on my reports should fall off in the next year or two, so until them I am just seeing what I can get going to get credit lines up and running and seeing what I can DV off of there early!!! maaj
Ha, yes 2 sets of twins. One set (girls) are mine and the other set (boys) are his which we both have custody and neither one of the other "parents" are involved at all. So we call ourselves the mini brady bunch. My dd's other dad has limited contact and my dss's bio-mom is in and out of their lives (she has untreated mental health issues). We should start a club.Elyse
