LadynRed
Sometimes you just have to get out the big stick and threaten them with it. Fixing things like this should not take forever, and multiple disputes with no results is just not acceptable. For improper reporting on discharged debts, they are violating the permanent injunction of your discharge and for that you can nail them in bankruptcy court for contempt. If they do not correct the tradelines, write a very stern letter telling them that if they don't immediately correct their illegal reporting, you will file a Motion for Contempt and Request for Sanctions against them in bankruptcy court. Give them a short leash, and if they don't comply, be prepared to drag them into bankruptcy court. If you win, and you probably would, THEY pay all your court and attorney costs !See the sticky up top regarding negative reporting on discharged debts. LadynRed
Nothing with the CRA's is instant, but 30 days is more than reasonable.
