shllby1
Hello, I disputed some items online which came back verified this past december, I have heard nothing else since then. I was told to dispute them again? Is that what I do? Should I just send out DV letters and wait then? Thanks
brattylatina
You need to give us more details on the accounts (i.e. type, how old, etc.). I usually look for anything that I can dispute and dispute again. If it doesn't work online, I do it via mail.

If it doesn't work online, I do it via mail. They are about a few years old till a year or so recent, comcast, sprint, nextel, stupud little bills that I should have paid when I had them but was careless! They are now at CA's who are sending me letter to pay up. I have disputed on Transunion to only receive an email saying "investigation complete" and "verified" that was it, they are still sending me letters. I know I owe the money I want to pay or get verification. THANKS!

newbie7069
Check out the link above for Debt Validation. There is a flowchart that will walk you through the whole process. You can't get them on the 1-2 punch without contacting them at the same time you dispute with the CRA. The first round of disputes with the CRAs is just to get the easy ones off. After that, then you really have to follow the flowchart. There is also a forum specifically addressing Debt Validation as well as Debt Settlement after you get responses back from the CAs for how to begin tackling paying these off.
