sjcraw
I just wanted to say Thanks to everyone on this site that has helped me. I DV Palisades about 3 to 4 months ago. They didn't validate the account in a timely matter, I then reported them to the FTC and the State's AG office. I then sent copies of the complaints to the CA's. Today I pulled my CR and they are long gone. I hope that they don't re-report in the future. I first felt like giving up on this process, but now I have the courage to push forward. I have 2 more CA's that I'm going to DV tonight. I found out going through this process you have to be paitent and wait on the results.I Thank GOD for find:-) ing this site and I'm not going to give up now. Thanks again to everyone.Sjcraw

sjcraw
A CRA delete is a temporary resolution to the underlying debt.I don't think that this is temporary, because they sent me a letter about 1 month ago saying that all collection activity will cease on this account. I DV them about 4 months ago. They didn't have proof then, I doubt if they will come up with it now. Another thing I always think positive about things. If it was a case of a CRA temporary resolution they sure didn't delete all of the other Tradelines that I DV. With all due respect keep your negative comments to yourself. And for all the other positive replies that I got on this thread thank you all and may God bless you. Thanks Sjcraw
lyle7289
A CRA delete is a temporary resolution to the underlying debt.True.The OC will again source this account with another CA and the evolution starts all over again. ON the brighter side, the more this debt is bounced from CA to OC back to CA or sold, the harder it is for them to keep accurate records.I resolved a lot of debts with the OC between collections..... MissaFraQ
Well, not to rain on your parade but, I've been fighting Palisades for almost 2 years now. I dispute, they get deleted, they re-insert, I dispute, they get deleted, they re-insert. Lather, Rinse & Repeat.I just found an attorney today that will take my case.If they are gone and they stay gone - congratulation to ya!! You made it! Consider yourself lucky (w00h00!!).I hope they stay gone for you but watch your reports closely
