MadinKS
The mortgage company pulled my CR and there is a judgment from the state of KS for income tax. It shows the judgment satisfied. Yeah, that's because I made payment agreements with the jacka**es in Topeka, and paid my taxes but they put a judgment on my CR! The thing is they never served me a summons for appearance and I never had a chance to argue my case. Is this legal? Can they just randomly put stuff on your credit report because they are a state agency? I'm spittin' mad and hope someone can help. ThanksMadinKS
Recovering Attorney
Tax liens often appear as Tax Judgments. The State can do what they want when they file them, i tis not a regualr judicial process. Sometimes a tax lawyer or CPA can help , but you may be stuck with this on your CR.
