ADSOFT
Does anyone know if a JUDGEMENT is neccesary to enforce a wage GARNISMENT in CALIFORNIA.I have a friend, who has a WAGE GARNISHMENT, but no Judgement appears on his CREDIT REPORT. How is that possible? Maybe they got him to sign a "Confession of Judgement" ??
kevin3344
Many judgments don't show up on credit reports. I would have him contact the clerk of court in his locale to see if he has any outstanding judgment against him. To answer your question, before you can garnish you need a judgment.________Headshops Edited September 9, 2011 by kevin3344
