determination
We just got screwed on a car loan and it's for 4 years but they said they don't report to the credit bureau. Is there anyway we can have them report or get some kind of credit for this?
VonAngel (aka EarthAngel)
If the lender of your car loan doesn't report, then unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to make them. The law doesn't require anyone to report to CRAs; it just says that IF they do, then the info they report must be complete & accurate. Does the dealer provide its own financing or is your loan provided by a bank? If it's the latter, then you should contact the bank directly to make sure (since they would be the actual lender). determination
no we were gonna go through a bank and signed the contract for the bank but they backed out. They were gonna just let us get our $4000 back but After we informed the dealer of the problems the truck had. They said they want to carry the note themself (in house finance) and they will not report to the CRA.
rm2738
I bet they'll report if you make a late payment. Or if you go into default on that.
