Well I just looked at my bank at Citizens, guess what? They debted a cashed check from my relative on my statement!!!!!! I have well over $1600+ in the bank. That means until the check is cleared that money will not change into a credit..Crenie crip!

This is going to be interesting to see how the credit is done...we are caught in this "wars between the banks" to get dead customers over their side!

I was very low on $ and just paid out my car loan and credit card payments. I was kind of scrapping because the funds were low until this Friday... good thing I had enough to cover this "cashed check " debt.

What gets me is they didn't even tell you their "new policy" Ugrrhhhh!

If I didn't have to have a banking service I would drop them like a hot potatoe!

CONGRESS NEED TO INVESTIGATE BANKING SERVICES TOO!

Can't wait until the congress brow beat these credit card industries today at 10 AM Yippeee, it's about time!!!8-)

So its not your check? If not, call them and remove it. And what new policy? Unless this is a continuation from another thread, I'm not sure the story is clear.

Also, not sure why you have to use Citizen's Bank. Go to another bank and use them is Citizen's is giving you grief. Many banks will give you a sizable credit in your account the day you sign up!

I cashed my relative's check at my bank (Citizen) several days ago, in which I did not deposit it until later. This is the first time in a long time I have cashed a check for cash without depositing it, but it is a wake up call because this is the first time I have ever seen a statement stating "cashed check debit $ ". Which means that the check I cashed was subtracted from my account... this is a new thing and very sneaky because If I did not have that covered I would have been overdrafted by this new manuever.

This must be a new policy from Citizen cuz I have never seen this transaction before....anyone else experience this ???

Well I just came from my friendly neighborhood Citizen's bank...Guess what? Remember that bank transaction "cashed check debt $" thing that I was telling you all about...? It was a computer glitch! :shock:88-)

Yesterday, the Citizen's bank computers were all scrambled big time. The bank manager told me that one customer called in to complain that she deposited $13,000, but the online computer showed a $90,000 deposit! Heck, I wouldn't have complained, I would have celebrated! Can you all believe that????
