gravelgirl66
They have split my file and I have been working the last 3 months to get it back together and getting NOWHERE... I ask them to send the "whole" file... Now they are telling me I only have 9 accounts out of "18"... and of course almost all of those are bad...Not the good ones... they are such morons... I keep telling the person in BFW where ever they are from... they say its not split.... I even sent an email to soemone at Equifax... and she referred me to an 800 number. They show "one" soft inquiry... I can't take it anymore, I have called and called, and asked for supervisors... Nothing works... She said all she shows is the info I have. Is it possible the "lost" all the other stuff? thanks in advance...

normancm
I'm going through the same thing! They keep sending me different reports. One will have nothing on it besides my name, ss#, address and the other has everything on it. Plus accounts that I disputed 2 years ago and that they had already deleted. When I send in the letters from them stating that the account was deleted by them they send me back a letter stating that the account does not appear on my reports. But alas, they are still there. It is very frustrating!I told them that I was trying to get a mortgage (which I really am) and they haven't done jack (except to send me more messed up reports)! I haven't tried Vicki Banks yet so I may try that.

Quietman
Vicki Banks did a great job for me. I sent an email explaining that something was wrong with my file, I was preparing to apply for a mortgage soon, etc.Two days later, all fixed! Although, I did not get the bonus "inquiry deletion".QuietmanP.S. Yes, I just sent an email. I also included scanned images of my pre-broken file, and busted files (several days reporting apart) along with my scanned image of my state DL
isislc
I would hate to say it but if my CR would split favorably, I don't know if I would actually want it fixed.

You maybe correct....but what if you were going for a mortage and they pulled your bad side of the split file? The point is you don't know which one they will pull when you want something..... chilton1
For me All my bad accounts went poof in the wind and took the credit card accounts with them. All I had left behind was my student loans and a 750+ score. Also I could not pull a trimerge account due to the Equifax split.
lhslancers
How do you find out if your file is split?I suggest you copy the latest Equifax report you can find on your computer and print it out. Split file? You'll know it when it happens to you.
saramorgan
I just started folders for all 3 CRAs to hold my CR's as I get them over time. How often should I print my CR's? (sorry hope this isn't hijacking the OP thread)

(sorry hope this isn't hijacking the OP thread)If you don't get any new tradelines then I would say once a month just to keep a record of all your goodies reporting. That might be a little much but I love to keep records. To be on the safe side it is a good idea to keep the latest records of all your tradelines so you have a back up if you incur a split file. It can' hurt.
