brandie2881
I just pulled my free annual reports and found Verizon Wireless is reporting two accounts one of them was sold to Midland Credit Management. When I seen these accounts I immediately called Verizon Wireless and told them the dates are wrong they connected me to the fraud dept. I spoke to Glenda, Glenda told me these accounts do not look like they belong to me after I asked her if she had the original signed contract to prove the date opened and I asked her for the account history, she told me they no longer had the contract and she sent me computerized statements from one of the accounts ( the account that is being Re-Aged ) the other account is being reported accurately. The computerized statements Glenda sent to me were for the months of March, April and May of 2001. And might I mention that the other account with Verizon Wireless was opened in December of 2000 and the last payemnt I made was in July of 2001 because of some charges I did not make and they refused to resolve the issue. I just find it hard to believe that they would actually open another account for someone after they already have an account in default for over 6 months. I know this account is mine but they are definately trying to re-age the account I do remember haveing the accounts with them and both of them went into default at the same time. But I have no proof. Anyone have any ideas??? The account is being reported by Verizon Wireless as follows :EQDate Opened 01/2001DOLA 07/2001Date Closed 11/2005EXDate Opened 12/2001Date Of Status 4/2003Reported Since 4/2003TUDate Opened 12/2001Date Closed 04/2003The Account is being reported by Midland Credit Management as follows:EQDate Opened 11/2005DOLA 06/2002EXDate Opened 11/2005Date Of Status 7/2002Reported Since 2/2005None of these dates match up or is it just me??? someonesomewhere
First things first.http://www.debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/forums/showthread.php?t=264049Sounds like a good candidate for the 1-2 punch.Send a DV letter to the CA, and dispute with each CRA where the TL appears. Knock the CA out first, and that might be the end of it when the CRAs delete.
brandie2881
Midland Credit Management was removed from my credit reports today!!! But Verizon still remains.. One of them will expire next year the other will not expire till 2 more years due to Re_Ageing.. Should I just leave it alone and wait for them to be removed in time or is there anything I can do at least for the account that has been Re-Aged??? Since you have now said that Midland is gone, dispute Verizon through the credit bureaus.

I am sending Verizon another dispute letter and a violation letter soon to follow..If this is your third letter to the CRA's disputing Verizon, then send them a letter asking them their "MOV" method of verification. There is a sample letter on this forum.

brandie2881
TransUnion & Equifax Removed both Verizon Accounts!!! WooHoo!!!Turns out that Verizon destroys contracts after the term of the contract is expired. And they do not keep statements either. The only information they do have is notes on their computer.. They do on the other hand keep very good records on all phone calls...
