shan2themax
ok, so while I am waiting for my letter from Verizon Wireless to come in the mail before I pay it, I am looking at my credit report and wondering what in the world! I looked at my "fico" and saw that it says I have 500+ dollars in 'revolving' debt, which just happens to match the amount owed to VW. when you look at that particular account on my report the type of account is 'open' yet it shows as a 'charge-off' in current status. should I dispute this now, or should I just wait and see what the letter says? shan2themax
woops! I forgot that I had said a little something about it in a different post..... long story short.... Verizon Wireless agreed to pull the account from the CA (NCO as of Feb, Allied Interstate before that), I emailed a VP and told them why the account was the way it was and blah blah blah, (I couldnt dispute this as the OC is the only reporter and I had already admitted it was mine). So, they agreed to pull from collections as long as I paid them 60 days from Mar 7, 2007. NOw, part of the problem at this point, is that I work midnights, and I vaquely remember talking to the Secretary of the VP on the phone, although I am not sure if we discussed deleting the entry from the CRA's. (I had been asleep for a few hours at this point). So, until I get the letter, I really dont have an idea of what it will say since I cant remember the entire conversation (and yes... I realize that that was a fairly dumb thing for me to do... but... I can always counteroffer I suppose) The account was last paid on in Aug 2006 so my equifax report says.. but I know that isnt true because I got my cingular phone in March and I hadnt had a phone for about a month) furthermore it has been reported as collection since 7/2006
