This is my first post. I am in the process of trying to repair my credit. I have hired the firm of fowler and fowler to assist me in this process. The jury is still out on them. In the mean time I was contacted by Asset Acceptance trying to collect an 6 yr old discover debt. First I told the lady I had no agreement with her firm and owed them $0. Then I asked her for proof of the debt including original agreement w Discover, Copies of invoices, Copy of agreement between her firm and discover, and a copy of any agreement between myself and her firm. She immediately became enraged and hung up on me. I called back 3 times with the same result. Did I do the right thing?

Thanks

I agree with Divemedic about the telephone. :ah:ah:ah: You will find on this forum that we avoid the phone like lerosy!! ::BigGun:: You need to send Asset a DV letter pretty much saying what you did although there are sample letters on the forum. Also note that in your state of Pennsylvania, the SOL is 4 yrs! xdeadhorsex As you have probably read on this forum, Asset a junk debt buyer, JDB! xWhipMex
