What should I do about this creditor

These accts where both paid back in 2004; the creditor american collections keep changing the dates when I dispute them. Experian will NOT let me dispute them anymore - what should I do?????? I need HELP!!!:confused:

The accounts are showing as being paid! :roll: I'm assuming your complaint is with the dates? The only dates you need to be concerned with is the DOFD which is the date of first delinquency....this is when you made your last payment. Your delinquency date plus 180 days is the date you should know. The dates they show are not your DOFD dates. You will see that the dates on your report may continue to move forward but don't be fooled by this! :evil: The CRAs will report DOLA dates which are "date of last activity" don't get confused by this as it most probably means when someone, possibly a creditor or a collection agency, had activity on your account which could mean when they last "looked" at it! ::devillaugh:: Remember... it's the DOFD not the DOLA which counts! :tempted:
