Orginal Creditor Deleted/Wrong activity date

I had a charge-off account. I protested the balance that was being reported to the CB's. Somehow, the account was completly deleted from my credit report dispite being ~5 years before the scheduled fall off date.

A CA started trying to collect. The last activity was on the account 10/05. But the CA is reporting it as 10/04.

My questions are can the CA be held to that 10/04 since they reported it the CB even though it actually is 10/05? Does the fact the orginal creditor has now been deleted ~5 years ahead of ahead of time mean that they probably don't have any validation anyway?

your account might have been sold to a jdb and the oc decided to just remove it and move on. That happened to me with citi. who is the ca?

I'm having a time with LVNV Funding right now as well from an old Citifi acct.

The only way to handle these JDB bottomfeeders is to DV them twice, dispute with the CRA, take violations and file in small claims, chances are that once they're served, they'll crater
