I have Truecredit and I pulled my updated CR (moments ago) only to find

IQ Data International on there for an apartment complex.

Now, I never received ANYTHING from IQ Data as this is the first time I am seeing the CA. Isn't there a law against posting on my CR without notification? I'd like to DV them but would love to quote the law on this one.

I'm trying to hold off on Disputed with the CRAs until I send the DV.

Is anyone aware of laws surrounding this?

Are you referring to:

FDCPA Section 803(2)

Do your research.

Once they make inquiry, you are entitled to be aware of this.

Thanks...DV I will...being sent out today.

Will keep you all posted. But I thought I was at least suppose to receive something in writing stating they were going to post on my CR. It states the account was opened on 6/23/2006 and was reported on 3/06/2007.

I have never received a dunning letter from them at all. But I will most certainly DV them.

Thanks again.
