nascar Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Who has some good info on the ScorexPlus system? I understand it's an Equifax product. I just received information that my credit score is about 120 pts lower on Scorex than FICO. What are they looking at? Is Equifax trying to lowball credit scores to get more lender business?
samuelson2005 Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 I don't understand how the scoring works. I just purchased Suze Orman's Plantinum Fico Kit. MyFico is showing EQ as 644 and EX as 633 (don't have a TU score through MyFico yet). But I ordered a 3-in-1 report from TU this morning and TU is reporting showing EQ as 628 and EX as 607. I have also gotten scores from freecreditreport.com and got different scores from them also. I don't think the 3-in-1 reports from one provider is accurate.
nascar Posted March 17, 2007 Author Report Posted March 17, 2007 It's an Experian, not an Equifax product, but I located some good info...Scorex PLUSSM is a powerful new bureau score that utilizes groundbreaking predictive techniques to outperform traditional bureau risk models.http://www.experian.com/products/scorex_plus.html"Scorex PLUS provided a stronger separation of good and bad accounts and classified more bad accounts into the worst-scoring ranges."
