newbie7069
I got a notice with this month's bill with a change of terms attached. This one struck me as odd:You give us permission to investigate your credit history by obtaining consumer reports and by making direct inquiries of businesses where you have accounts and where you work. We may request a consumer report from consumer reporting agencies in considering your application for this Account and later in connection with an update, renewal, extension of credit, or in connection with the collection of this Account. Is this normal? What do ya think? Or have I just turned into a paranoid?
shan2themax
I read another thread on here earlier about someone who had a CC and when it was time for the card to be renewed they were denied b/c of their CR at the time.

elyse449
I wonder if they're simply subscribing to the Universal Default Clause? All I can say is, make sure NOTHING negative gets placed on your CR's as long as you have cc's. It is a game of never-ended whack-a-mole!Elyse
