MadinKS
Got an account on my wife's CR that is being reported by Plaza Associates. The original account is from Gateway back in 2000. I pulled her EX CR and found Plaza has re-aged the account to 2/2007. Shows Date of Status as Feb 2007. Gateway shows deliquency dates of 1/2001, 2/2001, and 3/2001. SOL is long gone and Gateway should be dropping off in 2008 (Gateway isn't even reporting to EX, only TU). Does anybody have an effective and nasty letter that I can use to threaten the hell out of Plaza for re-aging and make them understand that they are violating the FDCRA? I want it to show them that I am pissed and will sue if they continue their incorrect reporting. Thanks.MadinKS
divemedic
Date of status is not reaging. That is simply the date it was reported.Reaging is when the DOFD is altered.
MadinKS
I should have mentioned this first (it was late and the back pain medicine was working). The merged 3-in-1 CR my mortgage company pulled in January shows them reporting delinquent date of 01/2007. Does this constitute re-aging? I know for a fact she hasn't paid anything on this since 2001. Still think I need a nasty letter for them. Thanks.
